Local beach clean up
We live in such a beautiful part of the world! At Yumy Candy, we want to help take care of the beaches, mountains, parks and lakes we are fortunate to live and work from.
Our team had the opportunity take action in our local community, one bit of trash at a time. We hosted a beach clean-up event among Vancouver’s waterfronts and had a great team join us to help improve the local community.
NORTHERN LIGHTS WILDLIFE SOCIETY
We are honoured to partner with the Northern Lights Wildlife Society whose mission is to provide young, injured and/or orphaned wildlife with a safe and healthy environment.
Animal welfare is a huge part of our company and very close to our hearts. A portion of all Yumy Candy sales goes towards this local organization, supporting their care efforts. Find them online to learn about all that they do!
THE BLOOM GROUP
We had the opportunity to give back to our community providing a donation to The Bloom Group aiding in their efforts to help others and building a resilient community.
Specifically, we were able to help the organization’s work with women and children as they provide a stable and secure place to stay. Women retain their autonomy and cultivate the resiliency, skills and strengths to overcome their challenges, progress to permanent housing and move forward in life.
We share in The Bloom Group’s belief that everyone should feel supported and live with a sense of self-worth and self-determination.
Egale Canada
June is National Pride Month and in support of the 2SLGBTQI Community, Yumy Candy donated a portion of proceeds to Egale Canada. Egale works to build awareness, education and research so that every person can achieve their full potential, free from hatred and bias.
Egale works to achieve their mission by informing public policy, inspiring cultural change, and promoting human rights and inclusion through research, education, awareness and legal advocacy. Yumy Candy strives to create a community of all candy lovers and are delighted to share in Egale Canada’s vision.
