Our Team
Cassidy McCord | CEO and Director
Cassidy is a seasoned capital markets professional and businesswoman who has amassed a multitude of operational and capital markets experience throughout her career. Ms. McCord has extensive experience and a valuable network primarily in the food and manufacturing sector. She was a founding member of a plant-based meat start-up company that reached over a $100M market cap during the plant-based meat boom and continued to be a founding member of Yumy Candy. In addition to her leadership role with Yumy Candy, Cassidy currently maintains board positions with multiple publically traded companies and acts as an advisor to both established and incubator companies.

Sue He | CFO and DIrector
Ms. He has vast expertise in financial reporting services for both public and private companies. She has extensive experience in public company environments and full-cycle accounting as well as providing accounting services for business acquisitions and reverse takeovers. Ms. He earned her bachelor of business administration degree from Kwantlen Polytechnic University, concentrating in both accounting and finance, and holds the professional designation of chartered professional accountant.
Quinn Field Dyte | Director
Mr. Dyte holds the positions of Chief Financial Officer & Director at Vantex Resources Ltd., Director at Goldseek Resources, Inc. and Director at PlantX Life Inc. He is also on the board of multiple public companies. In his past career, he co-founded Embassy Interactive Games Inc. and has held the titles of Director, Chief Executive Officer at Hadley Mining, Inc., Chief Executive Officer & Director at Scorpion Resources, Inc.
Pegah Manavikherad | Director
Ms. Manavikherad is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in marketing and public relations, including a focus on the sports and health sector, Pegah brings a wealth of knowledge and skills to the board. Pegah has demonstrated her ability to effectively execute successful marketing campaigns. She has also shown her entrepreneurial spirit as a key player in opening and managing a very successful multi-million dollar revenue company in British Columbia, Canada.
Erica Williams | Founder
Erica has always been a candy lover but couldn’t find a healthier option that was also affordable. Her health journey began years ago when she undertook studies in Kinesiology at the University of Fraser Valley and furthered her knowledge with personal training and nutritional certification. During her studies, Erica competed in fitness competitions across Canada and created a consistent, healthier lifestyle and positive attitude towards foods. Yumy Candy is founded on the “Feel Good” philosophy and after over a year of rigorous testing, Yumy Candy was created and in the hands of happy friends, family, clients and loyal customers!”
